Here at Lea Acres we are an in-home family breeder producing healthy, genetically sound, and loving multi-generational Australian Labradoodles (ALD). All puppy parents are genetically screened, and health tests performed to the highest degree. We have been named a Golden Paw Breeder by the Australian Labradoodle Association of America for our exceptional testing requirements and rated Excellent by Good Dog for our breeding practices.

Puppies are $2,750 (plus FL sales tax if applicable) with no price difference related to gender, size or color. Our current wait time is approximately 5-9 months. For announcements on upcoming litters/available puppies, visit our Puppies page and subscribe for “Pup”dates through our email list.

Families ready to welcome home a puppy are encouraged to complete our no-obligation/no deposit application. Applications are approved only after a family interview by phone. Once approved your name can be added to our waitlist. If you choose to make it official and secure a Lea Acres puppy, a $500 non-refundable deposit will be required. Balance is due at time of puppy selection (conducted after temperament assessments at 7 weeks of age). Deposits may be transferred to a future litter.

Our puppy selection process: , Puppy selection is done in order of deposits received. Lea Acres reserves the right to the first two (2) picks in any litter if we choose to hold back puppies for our program. Puppies should primarily be selected based on their temperament and fit for your household. Color, markings and gender are all secondary considerations. For this reason, we do not allow puppy selection prior to 7 weeks of age and completion of personality assessment using the Volhard Test.

We DO NOT assign puppies. After testing is completed, each family will be offered an in-person visit or video chat where we will guide them on the selection of their new furever family member. We provide detailed information about each puppy based on our time with them and their 7-week personality assessment. This does require we devote substantially more time before all pups are matched with their families, but we want each family to be involved and have ample time to interact with the pups before deciding on their new family member. This is an important decision that shouldn’t be rushed or based solely on our choice of puppy for you. Note: If we strongly feel a particular puppy is not a right fit for your family, we will explain and have you select from other available pups.

Pups will receive vet examination with Florida Health Certificate, microchip and appropriate vaccinations at 8 weeks of age and be ready to go home at 9 weeks.

Should you ever need to re-home a Lea Acres ALD due to unforeseen circumstances we reserve the right to be notified first, and will help place in a new home.
• All puppies are sold on an enforceable spay/neuter contract with expectation of proof of surgery by 8 months of age.
